Restaurante Terraba is located about 1000 meters after the entrance to Ojochal on the right side of 34 if you are traveling from Uvita.
Restaurante Terraba provides fast, top notch, high end service for more casual lunches during the day and a more fancy setting at night.
My favorite go to there to start depending on how the day is going is either an imperial or a fresh mango shake with milk.
What you are looking at on the right is the pescado casado and it’s safe to say it’s one of, if not my most favorite meal in Costa Rica.
Two fresh, perfectly seasoned and flash fried snapper filets caught and cleaned right from the ocean below with a garden salad dressed with a fresh balsamic vinagrete, black beans, a celery/choyote/carrot/potato/zucchini type of medley with a nice fluffy pile of white rice with some parsley on top . All of this for under $10 US. Dollars.
Not only is the food exceptional but you can truly tell how much the owners and operators really care about the dish they make and they experience that you, the diner has. For that alone I will keep coming back!
