Laboratorios Echandi is now offering 1 hour COVID testing at Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) in Liberia, Guanacaste for travelers that need to be tested before they return to their home country.
The company advertises that if you arrive at the airport 4 hours before your scheduled departure that you’ll have enough time to be tested and make your flight.
The one hour antigen tests cost $65 at LIR. People that are interested should schedule an appointment at this link.
Currently, the tests are accepted for travel to the United States, United Kingdom and Panama.
The nasal swabbed, antigen tests do not currently meet Canada’s entry requirements.
